Got a call about some PPI thing, and when I said I was just 15, the bloke kept asking if I had a boyfriend. Honestly, really creepy behaviour from those sorts of callers.

I had no clue who was calling, so I pressed him for answers on where he got my number from and where he was ringing me from. Turns out, this same number has popped up before, usually chatting about PPI insurance or similar stuff. Definitely not a proper business, just scammers trying their luck!

Someone rang saying they wanted to settle an insurance claim I've never actually filed. Sounds like a total scam to me. Just went ahead and blocked the number.

i just got off the phone with the actual HMRC and then i get a call from someone claiming to be them too - seems like a scam to me. really concerning that their staff might be passing on personal details. defo blocking that number!

I answered and asked who was on the line, but I didn’t catch the company’s name properly. The person claimed I had done some PPI about five years back (which is true) and then went on to say my full name and address, mentioning there was roughly £7500 of unclaimed PPI money waiting for me. All they wanted was my date of birth so they could send me a cheque. I was thinking it over when suddenly my phone signal dropped. They’ve kept calling since, but I’m still trying to figure out who they really are.

This number has been ringing me nonstop today. The guy on the other end says he's a doctor ringing about an appointment I supposedly booked, but I never scheduled anything with any doctor. When he asked for my address details, I said no way. Something about this feels really off.
