I received a rather dubious call, with the person on the other end claiming to be from my internet service provider, warning me about some sort of scam. They started off by saying they were from Virgin Media, but when I pressed them for details, they had a bit of a slip-up and suddenly started saying they were with BT instead. Quite the amateurish impersonator, if you ask me!

I've received an endless barrage of calls from various numbers over the last several months. Each time, they’re after my husband, who sadly passed away two years back. It’s almost comical how persistent they are, refusing to accept my refusal. The names they’re going by are Advantage Surveys, Beneficial Surveys, and GBS Group, just in case anyone else encounters this annoyance!
