If you check my note from 15/03/2021, it’s the same story again. Today, the caller identified as Low Cost Home Improvements. When I told them I'd asked multiple times already to be taken off their list, they acted as if they didn’t know. They also pretended to be shocked when I mentioned other similar-sounding companies with no websites had called me before from that same number - kinda obvious really. The woman was quite courteous and assured me my info would be deleted and no further calls would come through, but honestly, I’m not holding my breath.

Someone rang my home phone but didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, so I guess it wasn’t anything urgent. The number isn’t familiar to me, so I’m thinking it was probably some annoying telemarketer or maybe a dodgy scam. I can’t block it on my landline, unfortunately, but at least I managed to block it on my mobile now.

I'm being inundated with calls about home improvements, and it's rather baffling. I can't quite fathom how these companies think they can persuade me to buy from them when they’re clinging onto my details without any right to do so. It's rather suspicious when they ring me up using a variety of made-up company names. Plus, their consistent mispronunciation of my name really does give away their lack of authenticity. It's all rather tiresome, to be honest!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Home Solutions. They rang me up three times. The first couple of calls, I just ended it straight away. On the third call, I held on till they said the company’s name, then I put the phone down.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but since I’m switching my energy provider, I thought I’d pick up just in case it was them. So I answered, told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. Almost immediately, the same person called back and when I answered again, she seemed confused, said something like “not sure what happened, but you’re done with us” and then hung up on me. Bit odd really!
