I’ve just had an encounter with Unisure Ltd, an insurance firm that seems a bit too keen on persuading former clients to reinstate their policies. I recently decided to cancel my home and contents insurance with them, as I found a comparable plan for a fraction of the cost. They were exceedingly persistent about getting me to renew, and when I flatly refused, their tone took a turn for the worse. They uttered some rather condescending remarks like, “Oh, I doubt your new provider offers the same level of coverage,” despite my reassurances that the new policy not only offered superior coverage but was also half the price. Thanks to those savings, I’ve even managed to secure insurance for my car-a double whammy for less than what I was paying them! In a huff, they promptly ended the conversation. Quite the customer service experience, wouldn’t you say?
