Got a call from someone saying they were from the motor insurance database, but had a really strong foreign accent. I knew straight away it was dodgy since the MIB wouldn’t ring people up like that. If everyone reported these scammers to Action Fraud, the FCA, and Trading Standards, maybe we could stop them from carrying on with this nonsense.

I tried ringing them back, but it kept saying the number wasn’t valid or something.

I didn’t pick up, and when I tried calling the number back, which was hidden, there was no answer either.
