I had a couple of calls supposedly from Virgin Internet. They wanted me to unlock my phone and give them access. Definitely a scam, so I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media and asked what colour the light on my router was. I didn’t think it was legit and mentioned that, and then she told me to look it up on Google before abruptly ending the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

The phone just cut off after about ten seconds.

picked up the phone and some woman said she was from Virgin Media, saying my internet was running slow. she wanted me to type in some code on my pc but wouldnt give me a phone number to ring her back on. seemed dodgy to me, probably a scam.
