I let it go to voicemail thinking they'd leave a message, but they just ended the call straight away. Proper annoying!

I got a call from a man with a foreign accent claiming he was from British Telecom and the Telephone Preference Service. He mentioned I pay by direct debit and somehow had my card details. He was checking if I was aware my card expires in 2020. I felt like he was about to try and charge me for the TPS, which is supposed to be free, so I wasn't really interested in what he was saying.

My 16 year old picked up and all she could hear was some heavy breathing, then a robotic voice said "goodbye" and the call was ended.
