Today I got a call from someone saying they worked for a partner company called Galome Mobile and the bloke, Tom, claimed they were linked to EE. I just wanted to listen to their pitch. He was really pushy, trying to get me to decide straight away. I hung up and then rang Orange myself, who actually gave me a much better deal at a lower price. These sorts of companies try to confuse you by chatting about recent industry changes and whatnot. It was clear they weren’t from Orange or EE because their prices were about £10 more expensive. Plus, they called me before my upgrade was even due, and when I checked with Orange, they told me I couldn’t upgrade for another week. So yep, definitely not Orange or EE. Just a dodgy firm pretending to be legitimate, selling what they call a “great deal.” Don’t be fooled by them!

Today around 11:32am, I got a call from this number but I ignored it since I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. I’ve seen some of the other comments and a few mention EE. I’m with EE myself and have an upgrade coming up on 31st March, so I’m not sure if it’s related. If they call back, I’ll pick up and find out who they say they’re from.

Same here, I get calls from this number pretty much every few days. Today it buzzed while I was home sick and trying to get some rest because of a long-term health issue :( It's baffling there aren't any laws stopping businesses from flooding people with these calls. It’s tough enough for folks without any health problems, but it’s a real struggle for those of us managing chronic illnesses. Honestly, we should have the right to take legal action against these companies for harassing their own users. Judging by the comments, it’s clearly EE behind this.

This number rang my 12 year old daughter on the phone she only uses to ring me. It’s linked to my name and is listed as an extra phone on my EE account. The only place they could have found her number is from EE, our network provider. Surely it shouldn’t be allowed for them to just give that info away - or sell it? It feels really wrong.
