I could hear people talking away in the background, but nobody actually said a word to me.

As soon as I picked up, they just ended the call straight away.

I picked up the phone and heard a lot of talking like a call centre in the background. I said hello and then they just ended the call. Probably just some time-wasting scam or something worse.
