I received a call from a firm I’ve never come across before. When I informed them that the landlady and landlord weren’t available, prompting them to ring a business number of mine, the caller just burst into laughter and then abruptly disconnected. It's high time action was taken against these fraudulent calls!

He insisted that I must hold a managerial position, and tried to convince me they weren’t selling anything - merely keen on helping businesses save a few quid. I decided to end the conversation by hanging up. Ah, the value of the Telephone Preference Service for businesses, eh?
