I got loads of calls today, seven different ones all from various numbers, saying they was from Talk Talk. Thing is, I don’t even use Talk Talk! Some of the calls were pre-recorded messages pretending to be from my internet company. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it.

I got a call from some bloke from India, loads of noise in the background, saying he was with BT and there was an issue with my internet. Problem is, I don’t even use BT. Then the line just cut off and I hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam!

Got a call the other day from an man with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach, saying my internet was getting worse each day. Since BT isnt even our provider, I just ended the call straight away 'cause it seemed fishy. My other half mentioned we’ve had a couple more calls like this lately too.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent using the number 0161 2737093; he claimed to be from BT Openreach. He warned me my internet would be cut off for nearly a month. When I questioned him, he asked if I owned a computer or a laptop. I just said no to avoid the convo. Then he called me a liar, so I just ended the call.

This bloke really seems to be up to no good. The endless calls are irritating enough, but throwing in swearing makes it totally out of order. I’m baffled as to why the cops in Manchester haven’t paid him a visit yet. He’s either trying to scam people or genuinely needs help. Either way, the police ought to be checking in on him pronto.

Some bloke rang saying he was Henry Wilson from BT Openreach, claiming there was trouble with our internet. When I mentioned I doubted he was really Henry because of his accent, he ended up calling me a load of rude names and questioning if I even knew what I was on about. I probably shouldn’t have, but I threw a few of my own colourful words back at him in Urdu to shut him down - guess it was fitting since I’m Asian myself. Not my proudest moment, but couldn’t just let him get away with it.

somebody rang me saying they were from bt openreach and that there was a virus coming from my computer. the thing is, my computer wasn’t even switched on! they then asked about the colour of the lights on my router and told me to turn on my computer to check if it changed colour. i just hung up on them but they kept calling back non stop so i had to unplug the phone in the end.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from BT and told me my server was having issues. He wanted me to switch on my laptop and run some kind of diagnostic tool. Midway through the chat, the call dropped, but then the same guy rang back from another number. When I mentioned I was a bit wary and would call the official BT support number instead, he said I wouldn’t reach him because he was calling from a hidden number. I told him this was dodgy and went against BT’s rules, and then he just hung up.
