Got a call claiming there was an issue with my boiler. Didn’t really think much of it at first, but when I rang back, an automated voice kept going on about me winning some prize - even though I never entered any competitions or anything like that. Then I saw my phone bill and noticed a massive fee, which I reckon is because of that return call to them. Definitely blocked that number now!

No idea really, but since our phone number's ex-directory and hasn't been shared anywhere, I'm guessing it's just junk calls. Numbers like that usually get directed straight to the answerphone, which politely tells them we're unable to take the call and there's no option to leave a message.

We were out and about when they rang us up. Just wondering if these are the types who pester you, so we’re trying to decide whether to blacklist them or not.

Had a call yesterday, then the same number popped up again today from 0161 2650191. Can't help but think it's just some boiler replacement scam. Blocked those digits now, but I bet they'll ring from a different (likely spoofed) number next time. Absolute pests.
