The woman on the other end said it might take up to a day for the nuisance calls to actually stop, but she clearly knew about the issue! Fingers crossed it’s sorted now....

This number acts strange, if you try calling it back (with your number blocked, of course) it just says it’s an unknown number. You guys should think about reporting it to the proper folks: the Information Commissioner’s Office. Their website is http://www.ico.org.uk. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but whenever I’ve flagged spam messages or nuisance calls like those PPI ones to them, the calls tend to stop pretty quickly afterwards.
