I keep receiving calls from this number at various times throughout the day.

Some bloke called himself Stephen from 02 and kept prank calling me every workday for like two weeks between 11 and 1. I could hear them all laughing in the background while he was at it. Worse, you can’t ring the number back, so I ended up reporting it to the police and I’m gonna keep updating them if it keeps happening. Also, if it really is 02, turns out they don’t have a complaints department anymore - that’s what I was told when I finally managed to talk to a real person.

22/05/2018 Got a call from someone saying they’re with O2, told them I’m with Three and not interested, then asked why they were ringing me out the blue! They just said they’d quickly tell me about their deals with no proper reason! Smells a bit dodgy if you ask me!

O2 called me and I told them I wasn't interested in any of their offers. The guy then said he wasn’t trying to sell anything but kept asking who my current provider was and claimed he could help me save money. I said I was fine with who I’m with right now, and he mentioned the call was being recorded (as if I cared!). He then asked once more who my provider was, and I asked why it mattered if he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. I got a bit annoyed and he just hung up on me, lol.

Had a chat with O2 and they told me this number isn’t one they know of. Might be some group based in Manchester doing unsolicited calls. O2 would always ask for your account info before talking about anything important. I’m not even an O2 customer, so I realised pretty quick this was dodgy. Watch out everyone, don’t give out any personal details whatever they say. If they keep calling, just end the call straight away.
