They call, let it ring twice, then just cut off, which is really annoying. Also, they never pick up when you try to call back.

Today, 6/4/06, I got two calls from this number. The first call was silent, but on the second one, I heard a surprised and quiet “hello” before it went dead silent again. Maybe it’s someone from the census since I was expecting them to call around this time. I’m not sure why they don’t actually say anything though.

I didn’t pick up the phone, but there was an answerphone message saying it was from the census office. I’d actually been waiting for a call from them this morning, since I arranged it earlier but totally forgot about it. They’ve now rescheduled for the same time tomorrow, so I reckon it’s a legit call.

Census 2021. I received multiple calls where no one said anything, each lasting around five minutes.

Eventually, I managed to speak to someone. They had a go at me for not completing my census form. They attempted to pry personal details out of me and fill in the form over the phone, but seeing as it was an incoming call and I had no way to check their credentials, I told them to shove off. They were not pleased, to say the least.

They continued to ring me, so I decided to block their number.

Just got a call from 01612462476 a little while back and my phone flagged it as a possible scam.

I asked for a census form because I never got one, but apparently my place isn’t listed in their system, even though I’m definitely on the electoral roll. I got a call today from this number to try and sort it out. The connection was awful, and they tried to get me to do some sort of ‘data capture’ over the phone. I wasn’t comfortable with that, so I told them to just send me the 16-digit code so I could fill it in online instead.
