We've been receiving calls from this number several times a week-usually three or four times! The mystery caller doesn’t utter a single word; it’s just a cacophony of sounds in the background before they abruptly disconnect. I've lodged a complaint with OFCOM, but it appears they aren't taking action (typical, isn't it?). Maybe if more people raise their voices, they'll actually start to listen!

What a bunch of numpties! I suspect it's one of those call centres from TalkTalk. They rang me earlier, and a young lady with an Indian accent inquired if she could speak to my wife. I informed her that she wasn’t available at the moment (even though she was right there). When I pressed for a message and the identity of the caller, the poor thing fell silent. In the background, all I could hear was the typical bustling of a call centre. I inquired once more about who was on the line, and wouldn’t you know it-they hung up! For a company that’s supposed to be TalkTalk, they certainly have a knack for saying very little. It’s as if they’re going through a list of names, and if they can't get hold of the intended person, they become evasive and scurry off to the next name on their list. Quite the shambolic experience!

I’ve been receiving incessant calls from this number on my landline - at least three times daily for the past fortnight. It’s quite infuriating! Today, I finally decided enough was enough and, lo and behold, I picked up the receiver and unleashed a whistle so piercing that I reckon they won’t dare ring again. I’m committed to using this tactic until they make the connection in their primitive minds that calling me results in severe ear discomfort, prompting them to cease their incessant disturbance. It’s baffling how some people show such utter disregard for others’ peace. And what’s worse, they let the phone ring for a full minute! Let’s hope they get the message soon. At least they’re not hiding behind a private number!

Earlier today, just around 1pm, I received a rather peculiar call from the number 01612448123. All I heard was a rather bizarre noise-almost like a burp-while a few women, along with the bloke on the line, were chuckling away in the background. There was no actual conversation, and before I knew it, they hung up on me. I'm in the process of switching away from TalkTalk and it crossed my mind that maybe this was someone associated with my number. I'm not planning to change my number, mind you, as I need to keep it for several important matters. Initially, it did give me a bit of a fright, but after a quick search online, I discovered that this number is linked to TalkTalk. Given that I'm ex-directory, the only way they could have got hold of my digits is through them. The atmosphere on the call hinted at either a home or an office setting due to the laughter echoing in the background.

He was surprisingly pushy and rather rude, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hung up. Lo and behold, today I was once again greeted by this same bloke with his phoney accent. If he dares call me again, I’ll make sure to record the conversation and report him.

This is clearly a dodgy operation. According to Talk-Talk, it appears some chap is up to no good, just having a laugh. It's pretty disappointing that Talk-Talk doesn't take this more seriously, considering it could lead to identity theft or fraudulent activity involving your account. Honestly, what do we expect from big corporations? They seem uninterested as they've got you locked into a contract and have access to your banking details, making it a right pain to back out. I've only recently joined Talk Talk, and aside from a couple of mates, no one else has my digits.
