I received a rather absurd phone call from someone in India today who resorted to making threats and labeling me a criminal! This individual had the audacity to claim that I’m under investigation by HMRC for tax dodging. It's all a load of nonsense, a classic scam if ever there was one! Don't fall for the drivel that these unscrupulous characters peddle!

Got a recorded call with an American accent today, sounded dodgy as hell. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, so I just blocked the number, reported it and chucked it in the bin. Don’t waste your time!

After receiving a rather dodgy automated call, I decided to ring the number back. To my surprise, I was greeted by someone with an unmistakable American twang. They claimed that HMRC was allegedly pursuing a 'lawsuit' against me for tax evasion. What sent a shiver down my spine was how they already had my name and address, which must’ve been linked to my mobile number. I insisted they should send me a written notification from HMRC regarding this supposed lawsuit, and suddenly, their enthusiasm for the chat plummeted. It’s evident this is nothing but a scam.
