10 yearsIn the past month, I've received roughly six calls from this number. Much like with other callers, when you dial it back, it connects to a company named BMS. Their automated response system offers options-press 1 for customer assistance and 2 for sales enquiries. However, selecting 1 leads to a message about some technical issues they’re having, whilst hitting 2 just results in silence. Quite frustrating, really!BMS10 yearsThis number has tried to contact us six times now, and every time we pick up, the caller just hangs up! It’s quite bizarre - I’ve never managed to get a word in edgeways. Is this some sort of scam? Do they make money each time we answer? It’s all rather dodgy, if you ask me. I’ll be blocking them for sure next time! Cheers for providing this platform!10 yearsThis number has been ringing off the hook over the past few days. I usually let it go to voicemail but whenever I do pick up, the callers hang up almost immediately. Quite peculiar, really!10 yearsWe answered the call, but the individuals on the other end just hung up.10 yearsThis number keeps ringing us, and we're rather missing the point here.11 yearsReceived a call from this number, and the moment I picked up, they hung up on me. I decided to return the call and it turns out it's a company named BMS, dealing with automotive services. However, they promptly cut off the call again after a brief chat about their offer. Quite odd, really!BMS11 yearsFor the past couple of days, I've been getting a couple of calls a day from this number. It's quite peculiar as they consistently hang up without saying a word. The most recent call came through just today at 12:12 in the afternoon. Quite annoying, really!11 yearsHas anyone had a look at their phone bill after calling these folks back? It’s possible that it’s a cheeky scam. It really drives me up the wall; I ring them back only to find I’m getting hit with a hefty charge!11 yearsI'm still receiving calls from them! I'm getting in touch with our mobile provider regarding this matter. KJ, you're spot on-this was indeed a scam. Whatever you do, do not share your card details, no matter what they say!KJ11 yearsReceived a call the other day around half past six in the evening, but unfortunately, we didn’t catch it in time. Then, today at three-oh-nine, they called again. We answered, but the other party hung up straight away. Quite curious, really!11 yearsHad a call this evening around half past seven, but unfortunately, we didn't catch it in time.11 yearsThey have been calling us perhaps once or twice daily over the past fortnight, and it’s really starting to get on our nerves! I've had a word with our mobile provider, and sadly, the only option left is to change our number, as blocking their calls isn’t possible. It’s quite infuriating!11 yearsI'm in the same boat. I let them know we're on the Telephone Preference Service, and the moment I mentioned it, they just hung up.Telephone Preference Service11 yearsReceived a call the other day, but the caller hung up. Then, today they tried to get in touch twice, and we decided to ignore both of those calls as well.11 yearsI've been receiving calls from this number repeatedly. When we tried to return the call, it directed us to the customer service department of VMS.VMS12 yearsHad a call the other day but we couldn't get to it in time. Tried answering again today, and as soon as we picked up, they hung up. What a right bother! Just to add, regarding the previous comment, we know someone associated with the British Mycological Society and can confirm that it's definitely not them!British Mycological Society12 yearsHad a call concerning our phone plan, and the callers purported to be able to save us some cash. They had details about our current mobile contract, including the provider and the amount, which was quite alarming. We couldn't quite manage to catch the name of the firm, but the person on the line introduced themselves as Zack King. Oddly enough, they claimed they're not one for making many calls as they hold some sort of executive position. We're just too busy to delve deeper into this right now. Nevertheless, it all struck me as rather suspicious!Zack King12 yearsI keep getting calls from these folks around three or four times a day. Generally, I just ignore the calls, but there have been several occasions when I picked up, and they just ended the call straight away! By the way, I’m only fifteen.12 yearsEarlier today, we received a call from some folks touting a rather appealing mobile contract, but it quickly became apparent that their primary aim was to collect our debit card details, including the CVV number. I made it clear that sharing our card information over the phone was out of the question and asked them to send an email detailing their proposal. However, there’s been no sign of any email from them to date. This whole situation has an unsettling whiff of a scam, don’t you think? Should we consider contacting the authorities about this?12 yearsReceived a call this evening at 17:55, but unfortunately, we didn't manage to catch it in time.12 yearsWe recently received a missed call from this number, so I decided to give them a bell back. To my surprise, it turned out to be the answering machine for "BMS." Thanks for the info, everyone!Submit Your Own Report (0161 236 1088)
