Ive had this guy named Warick from Bright HR ring me 7 times in one day. When I finally picked up, you could tell it was just a sales pitch. He was quite rude too, acted like he couldnt hear me properly and then wouldn’t give me a number to ring back, saying they were super busy and would call me again later. Proper annoying!

After going through the comments, it seems like this is linked to me ending my AO insurance for my washing machine. They charged me even though I’d already cancelled the policy (which I only got refunded after loads of phone calls). It’s honestly a pain as I’ve had to ignore three calls from them today alone - fingers crossed I’ve blocked their number for good now.

I'm fairly sure it's Domestic & General (ao) calling - they've called me at least 4 times since I cancelled my useless ao policy. It's an unknown number so I didn’t answer, and the voicemail got cut off halfway through. Because of this, I’m never going to get another D&G/ao policy again, and probably won’t buy anything from ao in the future either!

Had three calls just this week - here's a handy hint: turn your voicemail off so those annoying spam calls can't drop messages. People you actually know can always ring or text again, so you’re not missing out on anything important. Plus, it's way less stress dealing with those daft spam pranksters! I've had a good experience with ao in general - ordered a few things in the past, delivery was on point and they were quite good at matching prices. But their approach to selling warranties really annoys me. They asked what I’d do if one of the appliances broke, and I told them my induction hob hasn’t worked from day one - been like that since it was installed 2 months ago. The guy said if I renewed the warranty, he could arrange for a technician to check it out and maybe swap it if it couldn’t be fixed. I told him no way, it’s under 6 months old and already faulty, so I’m entitled to a refund or replacement without needing their policy. “So you’re not interested in renewing the policy?” he asked. I said no, clearly. Then he said he’d remove me from their call list. Sorted!

So I got a ring from some bloke about a gas hob I purchased nearly a year and a half ago. He came across really insistent and I had to tell him straight up I wasn’t interested in continuing the chat. What he was really pushing was some kind of insurance for after the warranty ended, but he tried to make it sound like it was a freebie or something. If this number pops up on your phone, I’d just ignore it. When he asked me how I’d handle a fault with the hob, I snapped and told him to mind his own business. Proper annoying!
