10 yearsIt appears that the glowing reviews you see here are likely penned by individuals affiliated with Marmalade, probably their cronies from the management team. From my own experiences and conversations with several others, Bash-a-rat - as dubbed by Ray and Ayaz - treats its employees terribly and essentially coerces their clients into using their devices by claiming that they're somehow synonymous with 3G. We've been in contact with three insiders who suggest that there's growing awareness about these deceptive practices. The way they're conducting themselves is unlawful; they really are a part of the 3 network, and quite frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were shut down in the near future. I'd advise you all to steer clear of these dodgy characters. A few of us have even been unfortunate enough to have worked there and can vouch for their shady dealings!MarmaladeRayAyaz10 yearsAbsolute buffoons! I'm quite fed up, as these individuals keep ringing us repeatedly. We don’t pick up, yet they persist in their attempts. It's quite bothersome, and honestly, we felt something was off. That’s why we decided to look up the number and ended up here. Is there any way to block this number altogether?10 yearsMy partner and I have received countless calls from this company at all sorts of hours. Neither of us have answered, and after perusing the comments above, I’m rather relieved we didn’t! I firmly believe that when the time comes for us to upgrade our phone, we’ll reach out to Three at our own pace, without being pestered by these callers. This sort of behaviour really shouldn’t be permissible!10 yearsI wholeheartedly echo the sentiments of Carlene R’s earlier comment; we’ve encountered the same distressing issue with lovemarmalade as well. It’s incredibly embarrassing to admit we’ve fallen victim to these con artists. They snatched £9.99 from our bank before we even had a chance to glance at their terms and conditions. These individuals are nothing short of complete fraudsters and deceivers! I’m determined to share my experience with Watchdog to see if they can intervene. I feel compelled to name a few of these deceitful individuals operating from their Manchester call centre: Maz, Adam Hakim, and Frank Spencer.Carlene RWatchdogManchesterMazAdam HakimFrank Spencer11 yearsWe’ve decided to give the calls from 01612334552 a miss today. Much appreciated for all the input from everyone!11 yearsWe are rather miffed about this!11 yearsWe received our brand new phone this afternoon, and I must say, we truly appreciate you sticking to your word! A huge shoutout to Naz for all the help. I'm thrilled with my new phone and the savings on our contract as well. Fingers crossed I might even bag that mini! Cheers!Naz12 yearsReceived a message suggesting I should call this number regarding an upgrade for 'your preferred phone'.12 yearsI'm keen to identify the specific company behind this number, as we believe it may be associated with the Three network.12 yearsI've had calls from this number twice now. The first time, a bloke claimed he was upgrading our phone service and asked for our date of birth and to confirm our address. It all seemed a bit dodgy, so we grew wary, and he mentioned he'd call us back later. I appreciate all the feedback from everyone regarding this!Submit Your Own Report (0161 233 4552)
