Got a call earlier from some lot reading off a script, sounded like one of those accident scams. They kept pushing some story about a crash I was supposedly involved in. Felt like a classic call centre trying to scam you, so I just hung up quick. Proper dodgy!

Got a call about the car I put on Gumtree, but could hear loads of noise like a call centre behind her. She told me her brother would call later, like in 30 minutes or so. Sounded totally fake, like they were just reading some script. Honestly, looks like a scam, be careful!

They pretended to be the RAC, but they definitely aren’t. I’m fairly sure they grabbed my number from Gumtree because they rang me just five minutes after I put up a new ad. Then, a different number called me claiming to be some accident management firm. When I looked up that second number, loads of people said it’s connected to posting Gumtree ads and making bogus car accident insurance claims.
