There was loads of noise in the background, and a lady with an Asian accent was on the line. She said her name was Jenny and she was from some place called Choice in the UK. She kept saying “just one minute,” but she wouldn’t let me say anything. After a bit, I just ended the call.

Just got one of those classic boiler room spam calls, and the moment I picked up, they dropped the line. I reckon they use some auto-dial setup, so if you actually say something, you probably get passed to one of their call centre agents. But if you stay quiet and wait for them to start chatting, there’s no one on the other end and it cuts off. Honestly, it ends faster than when I try out my German on them for a laugh.

This number has been blowing my phone up non-stop but I keep ignoring it. When I finally decided to call back, it just said “sorry the number you are trying to reach is not recognised”. I’ve asked Virgin Media multiple times to block these annoying calls but they never do anything about it. So frustrating!
