Over the last couple of days, we've been flooded with four calls from different numbers, even though we’ve got a call blocker set up. We actually bought three of those devices, each one pricier and supposedly better than the last, but clearly they’re not doing much. I always assumed the Government was cracking down on these calls with hefty penalties, but it doesn’t seem to be making a difference. Honestly, I’m starting to think about disconnecting our landline altogether. It's really worrying, especially for older folks who might get more upset by this sort of thing than we do.

Got a call from this number earlier, but when I answered, there was just silence on the other end. I quickly ended the call and checked the last dialled number with 1471, then tried calling back myself. No luck, the call wouldn't go through. Sounds like a typical cold caller to me. I'm based in Fife, Scotland.
