The irony is I’m already with Eon, so I rang them up to verify, and they were completely clueless about it. I urge everyone to steer clear of sharing any personal details with these callers. They’re attempting to send a letter of authorisation to your energy provider, hoping to switch your account without your consent, especially if they think you’re no longer tied to a contract. Please, just be cautious - it’s undoubtedly a scam!

Received a couple of missed calls this morning, so I gave the number a ring back. All I heard was some sort of static mumble. Quite odd, really!

They called me at 6:59 in the morning, but I couldn't make heads or tails of what they were saying, and then they just cut off the line. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so there's really no reason for them to have contacted me at all!
