some bloke rang asking for someone i’ve never heard of, saying it was about an accident from the past few years. he couldn’t really give me any proper details. i told him it was a fishing trip, no accidents happened, and told him to piss off.

Got two calls back to back in as many days, just dead silence on the line. I managed to nab the number using 1471, but when I rang back to give them a piece of my mind, it just said "number not recognised" or something like that. Also, there’s been a couple more silent ones where if you stay on the line, you get a recorded "goodbye". These didn’t show up on 1471 though. On top of that, I had a PPA call too. So that’s five annoying calls in less than a day - that’s definitely over the top!
