got a call from a number i didnt recongnise, missed it. looked it up here but found nothing useful, so i havent blocked it yet.

when a number rings that i dont know but im a bit curious, i usually pick up but say nothing. nearly every time, after about a second, i hear a click and the line goes dead. if i catch any noises or people talking in the backround i just end the call. if its something important, they’ll drop a voicemail.

I could hear a Chinese accent in the background and the caller kept pestering me in English, asking how I was doing “today.” When I pressed for their identity, they hung up without a word. I’ve since added them to my blocked list!
