On the 23rd of November, I got a phone call from a man with an Asian accent who asked if I was the woman of the house. I said yes, and he said he wanted to ask me some questions. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him not to ring me again. He said he’d keep calling until I answered, but I said I’d report him to Lincolnshire Police if he did. Luckily, he hasn’t called since!

Keep getting calls from Benefits UK, now I’ve had to block them. They sound so pushy, always begging me not to hang up, saying things like "just two minutes please". Makes me think they're working on commission or something. The accent sounds Indian, so probably some call centre overseas pretending to be local. What an absolute bother! I keep receiving incessant calls from this lot, relentlessly asking for someone named Emma Wright. They somehow have an address and postcode, but it's definitely not linked to my residence. I've tried numerous times to request that they remove my number from their list, yet it seems to fall on deaf ears. I’m thoroughly fed up with this nonsense!

I really think the police should look into where this number is coming from. They ring up every so often but hang up really quick as soon as you answer. Got a call from an Indian bloke wanting to speak to the number’s owner. I asked “who am I speaking to?”, and he just said I wasn’t allowed to ask that. When I still didn’t budge, he insisted I wasn’t the owner and demanded I put them through. I told him I wouldn’t until he told me who he was. He refused, so I told him to remove my number from their list and to not bother calling again. He just said “that’s not my job”. I replied “well it should be, or I’ll be making a complaint”. Got a call from an Indian bloke asking for the homeowner, so I just said, “Look, do you want my bank details and PIN or my credit card info?” He then just exploded with “GET LOST you f##king dog man and your mum!” I’m still baffled by what he was trying to say, reckon he could do with some English lessons or maybe a different line of work.

Got a call from an Asian woman called Kate saying she was from Lifestyle and asking if I was the lady of the house. I told her the same thing I've told the previous five callers - to take me off their list and stop calling me. They just don’t seem to get it and keep ringing anyway. If it happens again, I reckon I’ll warn them I’m going to report them to the police for harassment and see if that makes them think twice.

Got a call from a bloke who kept calling me 'ma'am' and asked how I was doing. Then he said he had just one quick question and it wouldn’t take long.
