Got a call claimed to be from BT or something, saying they’re stopping nuisance calls. Then they asked what my favourite colour was. I just ended the call straight away.

Spam alert! Definitely a scam, just block and move on.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT about blocking annoying calls. They asked me to verify my postcode and phone provider, which I did. Then they said all phone companies had merged, which sounded a bit odd to me. Next, they wanted to know if I was still working. That made me uncomfortable, so I told them I didn’t want to chat anymore and ended the call. Feels like they were trying to collect personal info and not an official BT call. Watch out!
