Got a call from some bloke saying he was from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs but didn’t even say HMRC, probably to seem more legit. As soon as I realised, I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Official news from HMRC doesn’t come through cold calls like that, so be careful!
