Got a robo call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying I was looking at a VAT fraud investigation and to press 9 to avoid an arrest warrant. I hit 1 instead, just so I could have a go at whoever was behind it - seriously, they must think we’re daft to fall for that. Then it switched to an American voice telling me to wait because they were swamped but would get back to me soon. I just ended the call. Honestly, these scammers are the worst!
