11 yearsI’ve been inundated with calls like this lately, and typically, I don’t engage, but today was quite the experience with two calls arriving in quick succession. Oddly enough, both callers claimed I had been involved in an accident and were eager to represent me. Thankfully, by sheer luck, I haven't been in any such incident. I asked one chap if he was privy to details about this supposed accident since he seemed to have more information than I did. He then proceeded to label me as rude and vile because I mentioned that I must be experiencing amnesia due to this so-called accident. He kept insisting how disgusting my comments were and that it was completely unacceptable of me. I clarified that I’ve repeatedly requested to be removed from their calling list and, generally speaking, I’m not one to be impolite. In this instance, I truly didn’t think I was being rude at all. I made it clear that I hoped this conversation was being recorded, as he certainly wasn’t addressing the needs of the CUSTOMER (which is me, of course). He wrapped up the conversation by throwing insults my way, referring to me as a BITCH.
