This number just rang me and I’m totally baffled because it looks like a local Northwich number. The message was some automated voice claiming to be from Amazon saying my Prime was cancelled and they charged me £95 to renew it. I’d only recently had a free trial but cancelled it, and no money’s left my account. They wanted me to press some buttons to stop the payment, but I didn’t bother. What’s weird is this number is listed as a music studio in Devon but the area code 01606 points to Northwich in Cheshire. Feels like a total scam to me.
