i got a call saying it was about a car crash i was in last year, and that i might get some payout. the person on the phone seemed to know loads about me like my address and stuff. they said they were from asm or something like that? but the call dropped just as he started asking more, so not too sure if it was genuine or just a scam.

I got a call about some accident I apparently had, which I definitely didn’t. The guy barely spoke clearly when mentioning the company name, and when I asked him to say it again, he said “accident management group” - but I couldn’t find anything about them online. My tip? Just hang up straight away and block the number. Seems like they’re maybe hoping to catch someone by pretending to be a real accident management firm, but honestly, I reckon it’s a scam. I didn’t stick around long enough to figure out exactly how they wanted to rip me off!
