Got a call claiming to be from Boots Opticians, but something felt off since the number didn’t match the branch I usually go to. They rang me about 6:30 in the evening saying I was due for an eye test - which is unusual because they never call me, especially not that late. I mentioned I’d already had one this year and figured they’d have it logged, but they couldn’t confirm when. They said they'd update my file, but I have no idea what date they’d put in there. Honestly, it all seemed pretty dodgy to me.

It's actually Boots opticians reaching out to schedule an appointment since they've not had a response to the invitation letters sent out previously for quite a while.

Had been trying to get through to Boots opticians to book an eye test since I didn’t get any response from letters I sent. Spoke to someone really nice on the phone, couldn’t have been more helpful. Certainly didn’t seem like any sort of scam.

My wife and I moved to Scrivens about three months ago and told them this info twice already.
