Got a call at 12:33 today. These people need to be tracked down and taken to court, they’re such a pain for folks like me who are really unwell and just want some peace and quiet to rest. The government really ought to ban this kind of harassment against honest citizens. They must catch these troublemakers.

Got a call earlier today from someone saying I owe £400 for driving in a bus lane. The bloke was going on about it being really serious and that I’ve supposedly got a court order against me. He warned me not to fight it or the council would slap me with a £1000 fine. When I asked why I hadn’t got any penalty notices, he just rambled on with loads of rubbish.

Got a few calls from this and some other numbers like it yesterday evening. Pretty sure no legit firm would be ringing in the UK so late, sounds like a scam from India to me.

NEWRYN plc keep hassling me for council tax from three years ago that was already sorted out by the council ages ago. You can check the enforcement agents on the Bailiff register to see if they’re legit. This guy calling himself Mr Smith on (07757) 771407 either isn’t a proper bailiff, or he’s breaking the rules by showing up without giving the required 7 days notice, plus waving around a dodgy court order. If he’s not real, then he’s clearly pretending - which is even worse. Folks, put his number into WhatsApp and have a look at him, it’s exactly what you’d expect.

Got a jumbled message from a woman’s voice last night, couldn’t make heads or tails of it. Still logged it here just in case. Folks keep mentioning a name, maybe someone should look into it and take steps if they’re acting up? I know it sounds weak to even talk about it like that, but don’t want to get in trouble or anything.

Watch out for this number - it might actually belong to a real debt collector. However, it can also be faked to trick vulnerable people into handing over money they don’t have. Debts need to be paid off for sure. They don’t just disappear. But scammers love trying their luck. Be careful, everyone. If you’ve recently changed your phone number or moved, debt collectors might come looking for you there. You’ll have to deal with it - ignoring won’t help at all.

Just got a voicemail from some guy called Neil at NEWLYN COLLECTIONS for council tax stuff. He was shouting down the phone, "ring this number now!" 0160443854. Sounds like he’s really pushing for furniture or cash. He’s adding loads of extra charges on the bill just because of the council tax!

First, you can send the message on to 7726 (works with all mobile networks) or 87726 if you're with Vodafone, and your provider will take care of it at no cost. Second, you should also report it to the ICO - they can look into who sent it and have the power to block their services and impose fines.

Absolute bellends on the phone asking for some lass I’ve never heard of. They said they might show up at my door. Told em I didn’t give a toss. Honestly, I’d welcome it just to put the frighteners on them. Just a load of cowards who only pick on old folks and women. Come and try me then, you muppets.

Got a recorded voice message about a debt I supposedly owe (which I don’t). They claim to have “permission” to chase payment. Then, 5 mins later, a second call telling me to ring them back to set up a date for their bailiffs to come round. The only court instance I’ve had was serving as a juror. Someone really should take them to court over this. Their threatening tone feels like it breaks basic common law rules.

I’ve said my piece before, but they keep ringing everyday with their threats. Imagine if an old person got caught up with these lot - they’d be terrified enough to have a heart attack or worse. They’re absolutely vile and shameless. Just BLOCK them, it’s really that straightforward.

Newlyn bailiffs are really pushy and keep sending aggressive texts, like this one: RETURN HOME IMMEDIATELY if you want to be there when items get taken away. Call 07813532455 with payments to stop this. 4480579 Citizens Advice says don’t pick up calls, reply to messages, or open the door to them. What they’re doing isn’t legal, just trying to scam folks out of cash. Absolute scumbags!!!

I agreed to pay them every Friday and they’ve been phoning me non stop while I’m at work threatening to send bailiffs around in 24 hours, even though I’ve kept up with my payments 👌🏻

Got a phone call saying I owed £531 for a speeding ticket that was meant to be just £60, and if I didn't pay up they'd send bailiffs to seize my stuff. Tried to sort it online 6 times and I've got evidence for it all!! I've also got a solid team of lawyers behind me!! They're just trying to scare people. Honestly, they should be ashamed. Don't fall for it - just block the number.

My tip is to just avoid talking to them at all. Leave them be. They try to intimidate you into paying money. For months they've been sending me scary messages saying they’ll come to my place and take stuff, but no one ever shows up. All this fuss is about some council tax debt I already cleared, and I’ve shown proof to back it up. What a load of rubbish!!!!
