I had persistent calls from a landline in Northampton today, but they never bothered to leave a message. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to do a bit of sleuthing online. Turns out, it might be a rather dodgy number! I'm relieved I took the time to investigate!

My phone was buzzing with calls from this number but I didn't pick up since it looked unfamiliar. I just let it go to voicemail, but no messages were left. Seeing what others have said, I'm pretty sure it's some kind of scam.

kept going on and on until his whole little speech was done. looked dodgy to me since it showed up as a local number, the same area code as me, but when i tried calling back, some automated voice said the number wasn’t valid or something like that. pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I got a call from someone named ‘Tom’ claiming to represent a company that does renewable energy stuff. He wanted to set up a loft inspection, but it all seemed a bit dodgy. Especially since he wouldn’t tell me their website so I could have a proper look. Could be legit, but I wasn’t convinced.
