Got a call from someone saying there’s a person nearby checking if our double glazing is working properly. It’s just a sales pitch to try and get you to replace your windows. They’ll probably show up and push you hard to buy new glass or frames. I’d advise just hanging up straight away.

My older family member keeps getting phone calls from this number. The person on the line says they're some kind of energy advisor but once told it’s an unsolicited call, they just cut off straight away. Feels very dodgy, like a scam to me.

09:07 on 29/09/20 I got a call from some scammer. When I picked up, no one said a word - sounded like they were using some automatic dialer. They said they were an energy advisor ‘covering my local area’. Before even asking who I was, they tried to check if I owned the house? Didn’t sit right with me, so I called them out on it and they just ended the call straightaway. Proper annoying.
