I interrupted her, as I was losing patience with the conversation, and indicated that I had that sorted too. Eventually, it seemed she was leading up to the scam part-talking about some sort of government fund for accidents, though I can’t recall her exact wording. It was then that I finally suspected what was really going on and told her I believed it was a scam before hanging up. Not long after, she called me back twice from my caller ID and then another three times from a withheld number. Clearly, they were quite eager to reconnect, but I declined all their attempts.
