I kept my answers short and vague, just yes or no mostly. Then they said something about my insurance being legally required to start fixing my car within 48 hours (which isn’t true, and they didn’t mention it was actually the other insurer that would pay). I told them I’d already sorted the repairs but gave no specifics. Next, they started talking about a replacement car, but I cut them off and said that was sorted too ‘cause I was getting fed up.
