Got a call from a Mr Kelly who said bailiffs would turn up at my house at 6pm if I didn't cough up hundreds of quid. He was really pushy and said I was being rude, then said he'd be seeing me at six before hanging up. I phoned Ross and Robert after that, and they said I should get in touch with the bailiffs and say sorry. Not once did they mention anything about the call being hacked.

I kept getting calls claiming to be from Equita, saying a Mr Kelly is a bailiff or something.

Someone called me claiming to be from Ross and Roberts bailiffs. He said the company had suffered a cyber attack and that no one could be reached there right now. He insisted I had to pay a few hundred quid straight away over the phone, or else bailiffs would come knocking within the hour. It’s obviously a scam using stolen info. I’ve already passed all the details on to the police.
