Today, I received a rather dodgy call from a chap who claimed to be representing my bank. He was quite insistent on obtaining my banking information, but something about the situation didn’t sit right with me. Trusting my instincts, I promptly ended the conversation and decided to verify the number with my bank. Imagine my surprise when they informed me that they had no record of such a number! It appears I was dealing with a fraudster.
