It went straight to my voicemail and the caller kept saying "Hello, is the business owner there?" over and over. After a bit I realised they were just talking to my answerphone and then they hung up pretty sharply. Honestly, glad I didn’t pick up!

I've been inundated with calls from this number at my shop day in, day out. Each time I pick up, they hang up without a word. It’s honestly becoming quite irksome, especially since, as the owner, I need to be on top of any calls that could be from my suppliers. It’s incredibly frustrating because it disrupts the flow of my service to my loyal customers. As a busy woman, I certainly don't need the added stress of dealing with these nuisance callers!

Got a call from a guy with a strong Indian accent, he asked if I was the boss of the business. I said no, and then he just cut the call straight away before I could even respond more!

I've had quite enough of this outfit constantly pestering me with calls. Honestly, I’ve had to bark at them to remove my number from their records more times than I can count! This morning, I ran up two flights of stairs, all in a panic because I was waiting for an important call, and I ended up being quite brusque with the poor bloke on the other end. Why can't they just get it through their heads? 😤

There was a long pause before anyone answered so I figured it was from a call centre. A guy with an Asian accent wanted to talk to the business owner. I told him we were registered with TPS and didn’t take unknown calls. He just said thanks and ended the call. If they ring back I’ll report it to TPS but since I don’t remember them calling before I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Got a call from some bloke asking for the business owner. When I asked what it was about, he (an Asian guy with pretty poor English) went straight into this cheery spiel about saving loads on our phone line rental. I kept him chatting for a good five minutes before telling him exactly what I thought. Feels like Bangalore is invading Norwich! Brilliant!

They just ring and stay silent, then hang up. Sometimes they claim to be different companies when they actually speak. I've asked them to leave me alone but one time the caller got really cheeky. Just encountered another one of those budget mobile firms that refuses to accept a polite decline. They keep yapping on about how much I could save and how lightning fast their broadband is-of course, only if I sign up with them! When I mentioned that my current plan is cheaper than their offer, they looked rather sceptical. Then, lo and behold, they miraculously slashed their price when I suggested I might consider it today-barely fifty pence less than what I’m already forking out, making it hardly worth the hassle. I also informed them that my employer only recognises written quotes, so I requested they send me the details via email. And what do you know? No email came through! All in all, I’d label them as a dodgy outfit!

Received a call previously but they hung up as soon as I picked up. Today they said they were from a company named The Phone Utility and wanted to talk to the business manager. The person had a very strong Indian accent. I asked for their company’s address, but they wouldn’t share it. Then I asked for the name of their Data Protection Officer, and again they refused. When I explained they had a legal duty to provide that info, they just said sorry and ended the call.
