Picked up because I was waitin on a call from a strange number and got this chap named Raj instead. Kept askin him where he was callin from but he just wouldn't say. After a few tries, he told me to “hang up then you ####”. So, yeah, I did exactly that.

Spoke to someone from Greenpeace who was really nice and told me they’re working on cleaning up UK rivers, something I’d clicked ‘like’ to on Facebook ages ago. They wanted to get me to do a small direct debit, like £3 a month. I told them I wouldn’t do that over the phone but would sign up properly through Greenpeace’s official site, so some good came of the call. The person was polite and said they get paid for each sign up but didn’t push at all, so it sounds legit. Still, I never give out my bank details or set up payments to strangers on cold calls, just to be safe.
