When I picked up the phone, I didn't say a word; I just remained quiet. The caller quickly ended the call—clearly an automated line. I've now added them to my list of blocked numbers.

I received a call, but it didn't quite go through as it should have. I reckon one of the other lines they were attempting to reach must have picked up before me. Since I've ditched my landline, I had my suspicions it would lead to a bit of a wild goose chase!

It seems I've fallen victim to a utility con!

It’s evident that this is a dodgy scheme trying to trick people into divulging their bank details by pretending it's about a utility refund. Be very wary if you receive a call like that!

I've been receiving calls from this number repeatedly throughout the last week. I choose not to pick up; instead, I let them ring through to my voicemail.

Received a call promoting a medical alert pendant for emergencies, but I decided to end the conversation. I have no health concerns and don't require such a gadget.

Upon picking up the phone, all I discerned was the sound of someone inhaling and exhaling. It’s been ages since I encountered a caller who was merely a heavy breather. Quite amusing, really! 😂

I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I chose not to pick up. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, which I found a bit odd. After doing some digging on this site, I decided it was best to block the number entirely.

I picked up the call, but they disconnected immediately. Best to steer clear, considering the reviews.

I received a call from them soliciting details and wanting to chat about energy providers, as I was considering switching. When I requested some written material, they abruptly ended the call.

A rather posh woman claimed to be the energy advisor for the area. She rang my number, which is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Could someone from TPS please tackle this bothersome call?

Received a call supposedly from BT Business, chatting away about the transition from analogue to digital. I didn't allow him the chance to pitch us anything, as we've already made the switch. Interestingly, he didn't seem to know the right year this is meant to wrap up, which was quite telling!

Someone mentioned my name, inquired about how I was, and then the call dropped unexpectedly. I suspect it was a dodgy scam attempt.

Junk calls of the worst sort – promoting Co-op funeral schemes. Quite vexatious!

Rather suspicious, I would say. When I inquired about the necessity of a medical alert system, they abruptly hung up. Seems like a bit of a con to me, if I'm honest.

Didn’t pick up the call. No voicemail left either. Had a look on this site and have now decided to block the number.

Picked up the phone, but there was silence on the other side. Ended the call shortly after.
