So, I got a call earlier today from someone who claimed to be with EE. Odd thing is, they didn’t seem to know anything about my account and kept asking me to dig up and share all my details. Isn’t that strange? I would've thought they’d already have everything they need!

Pretty clear they were on an auto-dialler. When someone finally did pick up, they rattled on super fast about my BT contract finishing soon and all that usual stuff. Tried asking a few questions but all I got was dodgy, vague replies. Told them I was happy with what I've got and boom, they just cut me off. Lovely manners, eh!

Yesterday, 24/08/2020, at about 5:29pm, I got a call from the landline number (01603) 983075. Then again today (25/08/2020) at 1:49pm, the same number rang me. Both times, my phone automatically rejected the call thanks to the True Caller app, so I never answered. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now. Planning to report this to Action Fraud, WHICH, and also notify the local app "In Your Area" so others can be warned that this number isn’t legit.

Got a call from someone claiming to be EE, offering to sort out a better deal for me. I’m on a pay as you go sim. They clearly had some info about my phone and a few personal bits, but for some reason they didn’t know my name and kept pestering me to tell them. Bit odd, if you ask me.

Got a call from this number but no voicemail left. Could be a scam or just spam, who knows? Just a heads up, don't share any personal info if they ring back and start asking questions. Best to block it straight away.
