On 12-03-19 I got a couple of calls from the same number, with someone saying I could claim payout from my bank for PPI going back 20 years, saying it was something forced by the UK government. I said I’d speak to the bank about it, but they told me I was missing out on my own money, so I just ended the call. Then on 13-03-19, the same number rang me again with the same message. This time I just thanked them, said I would talk to the bank, said goodbye and hung up straight away.

Yesterday I got a call from a guy saying he was Alex Williams from Claims Advice House based in Adamson House, Manchester. Then, I got two more calls today, this time telling me I was due about £3,000 in PPI compensation. They asked me to go to the post office, buy a Paysafe card, and load £200 onto it. They said a bloke called Mr Robinson would ring later with a cheque, but before giving me the cheque, I needed to make a payment or something. It all sounded dodgy to me, so I just ended the call. Watch out for this one. The number that kept ringing me was 01592652621.

Some bloke called me up and freaked me out by already knowing my name and where i live. He claimed I could get money back from the government coz i was with nationwide (how creepy that he had that info). I told him if that's legit then send me the details through the post. He kept yammering and I just lost patience and ended the call. I flagged it as risky since he had personal stuff on me.
