Got a call earlier saying cash was taken from my bank account, and when I pressed through, it sounded like it was coming from some call centre in Asia. So, I decided to ring the number back. An old bloke picked up and looked totally confused, saying he had no clue his number was being misused. I guess nowadays people can make internet calls that show any number they want on caller ID.

I got a call saying money had been taken from my bank and they were just verifying if the transaction was legit. They asked me to share my bank info to confirm it. The first ring made it seem like it was from nearby, but when I answered, it sounded like the call got passed to another country.
