The phone just went silent. When I rang back, the message said "the number you dialled can't be found." That really shouldn't happen if the number isn’t valid, surely they can’t be letting dodgy calls through? What’s going on with Openreach, looks like they’re running a proper shambles. Bet in the old days of the GPO, this kind of thing wouldn’t have been allowed. Honestly, bring back nationalisation - might sort this mess out.

I picked up and immediately ended the call! This number has rung me a few times before when I wasn’t home, but they’ve never bothered to leave any voicemail.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Openreach about my internet. When I told them we actually do have internet, they went quiet real quick!

I think it went through to a call centre or something 'cos I heard voices in the back, but then it just dropped the call.
