3 monthsThis is one of those call centres from India. They fake being from some kind of sweepstakes or competition, acting like you've already won something. They ask all these questions designed to get you to say yes. I just kept replying with ok or nope, avoiding yes or no completely, and it really seemed to frustrate them. They kept insisting I had to say either yes or no, no ok allowed. They also tried to get me to give my bank details, saying I needed to pay a fee to claim my prize or something. Honestly, it's a proper dangerous scam.India3 monthsI saw a missed call, so I rang back and got some robotic voice saying “this is the energy department..”. I quickly ended the call - pretty clear it was a scam. 🫠3 monthsThis seems like one of those dodgy surveys where they try to trick you into thinking you’ve won some kind of prize. The questions are cleverly set up so you end up saying "yes". From what I've heard, they might be recording your voice to use as some kind of approval, which sounds pretty risky. Best to avoid saying yes at all costs.3 monthsBoth times the call was marked as spam by my network, so I didn't notice it ringing. I only found out when I checked my call log afterwards.3 monthsI ended the call right away, seemed like one of those dodgy call centre scams.3 monthsThe moment I picked up, the call ended straight away. Definetly sounds like some sort of scam to me. Blocked the number right away.3 monthsSo I got a call about one of those health gadgets you wear on your wrist or around your neck, which can alert someone if you fall or if you press a button. I told the person that I already own one, but they replied that mine is analogue and offered to replace it for free, with the same monthly fee. Thing is, I don’t actually have one. I just ended the call.Submit Your Own Report (01583 240354)
