Got a voicemail saying we'd missed some calls about shady activity on our internet and that our service was about to be cut off. I got a call from someone saying they worked for BT and claimed my IP had been hacked. I’ve gotten calls like this before, and the first time it went wrong because they managed to lock my computer. This time, the person got really pushy and then handed me over to a “supervisor” who warned me my internet and phone would be cut off, then just hung up.
