On Tuesday, 27th September, at around half past ten in the morning, I had a rather dubious call from a chap who identified himself as Steve Anderson, claiming to represent Sky TV. He proceeded to inform me of some supposed issue with my internet connection. I promptly informed him that I don’t subscribe to Sky TV and reminded him that my landline is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. After that, I hung up the phone, sensing it was all a bit dodgy.
